Hi -- we are excited to have you as part of the Wikia community!

Starting a new wiki can be overwhelming, but don't worry, the Wikia Community Team is here to help! We have put together a few guides to getting started. They say imitation is the best form of flattery so absolutely check out other wikis on Wikia for ideas on layout, ways to organize your content, etc. We are all one big family at Wikia and the most important thing is to have fun!

Hi, we got your email, but there was no reply address, so I'll reply here. Sorry about the name being wrong above, a glitch in our wiki creation program. I've fixed the message.

You ask about "sections", do you mean "categories"? You can add them just by typing [[Category:Whatever]] in the article. That will add the "Whatever" category. You can edit the category page by following the red link at the bottom of the saved article. When you edit that category page, you can add it to higher categories in the same way: by typing [[Category:Whatever higher]]. There are also useful pages in the Special:Specialpages section, including a Category tree

Thanks ... I figured out the sections.

For the Logo, your page: http://jobs.wikia.com/wiki/Help:Starting_this_wiki says someone at Wikia will help design or create a logo ... so I'm asking for help here - I'm no artist.

Sure. One of the Wikia helpers can do that for you (or someone else from the community. Hey Sharimo1, I saw your request on the Logo creation campaign page, so I made and uploaded a logo (as you can see). I hope you like it.
